Shots fired at Munich shopping center

Shots were fired on Friday evening (local time) at a shopping center in the German city of Munich, local police said, according to Sky News.

At least one person was killed and 10 others are injured in the shooting, which took place at the Olympia-Einkaufszentrum (OEZ) – Bavaria’s largest shopping center, AFP reported.

There are no details on who was responsible for the shooting.

Footage from the scene appeared to show people running away to seek shelter – and there are local reports that some civilians are still trapped inside the shopping center, according to Sky News.
