That picture of Susanna Hoffs is from the Bangles ‘Walk Like an Egyptian’.

  2. Mark Bernstein says:

Please add Ofra Haza (internationally known singer) and Ofra Harnoy (famous cellist).

    1. admin says:

Thank you. We just added them.

  3. Karl says:

You got to get rid of sme of these musicians. The majority of them are Jewish but there are some who are not such as: J. Geils, the band members were all Jewish but J. Geils himself was NOT! They were going to call it the J. Gentile band as a mocking affection since J WAS the only Gentile of The Band. Courtney Love is NOT Jewish at all. Maybe one of her step-parents were. But biologically she is NOT!. Neither is Pat Smear. There are rumours circling around the web. But nothing to clarify. He is of German ancestry. And as for Slash, well, that’s another rumour as well… Slash is NOT Jewish… Mark Knopfler is only half-Jewish on his Father’s side, as is Richard Hell (Half-Jewish on his Father’s side, Adam Horovitz Ad-Rock (Half-Jewish on Father’s side) as was Warren Zevon(Half on Father’s side). But Danny Elfman who you forgot to mention of Oingo Boingo fame is Jewish!

  4. Karl says:

Actually you’re right about Pat Smear, but he is Half-Jewish on his Father’s side. Oh and the J.Gelis band was going to be called the J.Gelis Blues Band but jokingly they refered it to the J.Gelis Jews Band. Oh you also forgot to mention Scott “Not” Ian and Dan Spitz (Born Jewish, converted to KKKhristianity) of Anthrax, Dave Mustaine and Marty Friedman of Megadeth (Another one who converted to KKKhristianity) and Alex Skolnick of Testament. Shalom! V

    1. admin says:

Thank you for your corrections. We did not mind throwing Courtney Love out of the club, but removing Slash was painful 🙂 That’s all for now.

  5. Karl says:

Yeah… I bet it was painful to remove Slash. I mean he’s a freaking Genius! If I was to create an all star rock band and I was in an all star rock band it would be me on Vocals (Obviously), Flea (From: Red Hot Chili Pepper’s) on Bass, Lars Ulrich (Not a Jew, unfortunatley) (From: Metallica) on Drums and… Slash as Lead Guitarist (Obviously). Whaddya think about that? Huh?

  6. T.E. Jones says:

I love this website! I am a Gentile and a Christian (thanks for the bigotry Karl)but I am in awe of Jewish history and accomplishments. I fully support Israel and hope to visit someday. It also amazes me just how many of my all-time favorite musicians are Jewish! Keep up the great work!

  10. Rory Fyfe Smith says:

    Hoffs is beautiful.

  11. Martin Grossman says:

Leonard Cohen never “converted” to Buddhism or considered himself Buddhist. He took great care to let people know that he was a practicing Jew. In fact, he was a regular at Ohr Ha Torah, an LA synagogue over the last ten years of his life. He invited the choir and cantor of his childhood synagogue, Congregation Shaar Hashomayim in Montreal, to perform on what was to be his final album.

What about Eddie Fisher. He was one of the best singers from the 1950’s. He had a TV Show called “Coke Time” which showed off his great voice. He is also known for the women he married like Debbie Reynolds and Elizabeth Taylor but his voice was so beautiful. I met Eddie many times and he was always so nice to me. I have some of his Coke Time TV Shows that are very enjoyable.
