Palestinian Scout Organization erases Israel from map
June 28, 2016“[PA District Governor of Ramallah and El-Bireh] Dr. Laila Ghannam during her participation in the celebrations of the Palestinian Scout Association’s full membership in the international organization (i.e., World Organization of the Scout Movement), which was held by the [Palestinian Scout] Association with the participation of scout [associations] from Arab and world states, under the auspices of his honor, [PA] President Mahmoud Abbas. Ramallah’s Palace of Culture, 16th of Ramadan, 2016”
This is part of the PA’s wider campaign of denying the existence of Israel. PMW reports on many incidents of children’s TV explicitly denying the existence of the State of Israel.
In one PA TV program, The Best Home, the host along with his puppet sidekick taught that “the size of Palestine is 27,000 sq. km.” However, in reality, the total combined area of Judea, Samaria and the Gaza Strip is only 6,220 sq. km.
27,000 sq. km would include all of the State of Israel excluding the Golan Heights – once again belying the PA’s declared commitment to a “two state solution.”
PA TV host: “What is the size of Palestine?”
Puppet Ramzi: “Oooooooh, Palestine is big…”
PA TV host to boy on phone: “Amir, are you with me? Amir left. Don’t be scared, the question is very easy…”
PA TV host: “Well then, children, my friends, the size of Palestine is 27,000 sq. km.”
Puppet Ramzi: “I know, 27,000 sq. km.”
PA TV host: “You know? Bravo!”
