A four-year-old child died on Saturday, after a large television in the family home fell on her.

Anan Halaf, an MDA paramedic who was at the scene, explains: “When we arrived at the house we saw a large, broken TV on the floor. Near it was an unconscious girl with a bad injury to her head. She was not breathing and had no pulse. We gave her medical treatment and tried to resuscitate her in the home. We continued our efforts, including resuscitation, drugs and massaging, as we took her to the hospital. She was already in critical condition at the time.”

Shortly after she was admitted to Meir Hospital, the hospital announced that the girl had died of her wounds.
