Woman Wounded in Jerusalem Rock Attack

April 23, 2014

A woman was lightly wounded on Wednesday evening after terrorists threw rocks at a bus near the French Hill neighborhood of Jerusalem.

The woman received treatment from paramedics at the scene and was subsequently taken to the Hadassah Mount Scopus Hospital for further treatment.

Arutz Sheva has reported on many occasions about rock attacks targeting Jews in Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria and other areas of Israel. Many of these attacks are not reported in the mainstream media outlets.

Rock attacks can be lethal, as was the case in an attack in September of 2011 which targeted Asher Palmer and his infant son Yonatan. The two were killed when an Arab terrorist hurled large rocks at their car.

In another incident, three-year-old Adelle Biton was critically wounded in a rock terror attack in Samaria last March.

Just last Friday, a woman from New York who flew to Israel to attend her father’s funeral at the Mount of Olives was prevented from attending it due to a rock attack.

As the woman drove to the funeral Friday afternoon in a car with her relatives, about ten Arab youths ambushed the car and pelted it with rocks and cinderblocks.
