A woman from Geneva, Switzerland has found an original way to prevent her husband from flying out of the country.

The woman called the local airport and reported a bomb on the airport premises.

After the telephone call, a number of flights were grounded, and passengers were forced to wait while security forces scoured the airport premises.

After authorities verified the phone number of the call and located the woman, she admitted that she had made the call in order to prevent her husband from flying.

An investigation has been opened into the incident.
