The brief respite from winter weather will end Tuesday night, bringing strong winds and thunderstorms nationwide.
Temperatures will continue to drop Tuesday, with highs ranging from 75°F-80°F (24°C-26°C) in Be’er Sheva, central Israel, the Jerusalem area, Judea-Samaria, the Galilee and the Golan Heights; Eilat will reach temperatures as high as 88°F (31°C).
Thunderstorms will return nationwide overnight, with rain predicted across the country, and lows ranging from 48°F (9°C) to 57°F (14°C). The rainfall may be enough to spark flash floods in low-lying regions.
Eastern winds will continue to bring cloud cover and temperatures down Wednesday, with strong winds particularly predicted for the north and haze forecast nationwide.
Thursday will bring another drop in temperatures, bringing average highs down to 78°F (25°C) in Katzrin, 76°F (24°C) in Haifa, 76°F (24°C) in Tel Aviv, 71°F (22°C) in Ariel, 66°F (19°C) in the Jerusalem region, 75°F (24°C) in Be’er Sheva, and 82°F (°C) in Eilat.
