A special poll, conducted by the Midgam institute headed by Mina Tzemach and Mano Geva and published on Channel 2 News on Saturday night, examined what exactly Israeli citizens think about the job the current government ministers are doing.
In the poll, conducted via the internet among 705 respondents in a representative sample of the adult Jewish population in Israel, respondents were asked how much they were satisfied with the performance of the ministers.
At the top of the list is Health Minister Yaakov Litzman (United Torah Judaism) with 56.1%, followed by Transportation Minister Yisrael Katz (Likud) and Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon (Likud) who share second place with 50.5% of respondents saying they were satisfied with their performance.
46.9% of the respondents answered that they were satisfied with the performance of Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked (Jewish Home), putting her in fourth place, and Education Minister Naftali Bennett concludes the top five with 45.5% indicating they were satisfied with his performance.
In light of the ongoing wave of terrorism and the security situation over the last few months, 38% of the respondents answered that they were satisfied with the performance of Internal Security Minister Gilad Erdan. Culture Minister Miri Regev received 37.8%, followed by Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon with 37%.
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu is near the bottom of the list, with only 32.1% of the respondents having expressed satisfaction with his performance and, in last place, is Periphery Minister Aryeh Deri (Shas) with only 18.9% indicating they were satisfied with his performance.
