A car ramming attack took place early on Friday morning at Kfar Adumim Junction, located outside Ma’ale Adumim to the east of Jerusalem.
Two soldiers aged around 20-years-old were lightly to moderately wounded in the attack, and the terrorist was shot dead.
The terrorist sped up and rammed into a group of Israelis who were at the junction.
Large security and Magen David Adom (MDA) forces were dispatched to the scene, and the wounded were evacuated to hospitals in Jerusalem after receiving initial medical treatment.
One of the victims suffered moderate wounds all over his body and was evacuated to Shaare Tzedek Hospital, while the second victim was lightly wounded in his limbs and was evacuated to Hadassah Mount Scopus Hospital.
The attack continues a near daily string of lethal assaults, which have left no fewer than 22 Israelis murdered in stabbing, car and shooting attacks since the current terror wave broke out in mid September.
Just a day ago on Thursday, a stabbing attack was thwarted at Tapuach Junction in Samaria, as a terrorist who emerged from a taxi with a knife was spotted and shot dead before being able to harm anyone.
A day earlier on Wednesday, a soldier was seriously wounded in a stabbing attack outside Hevron.
