Two men in their 20s died Saturday in a Kibbutz Yotvata in southern Israel. The two have been identified as Natan Maharat and Binyamin Kabda.
The two young men had visited a local pub shortly before the deaths.
Maharat lived on the kibbutz and worked with the Telem project, which assists immigrants from Ethiopia. Project coordinators said he had planned a career working with at-risk youth.
Kabda had recently completed his army service. He was working as a guide and guard for tour groups.
Also Saturday, a three-year-old toddler nearly drowned in a private pool in Tel Aviv. The toddler was pulled from the water in critical condition, and remains in very serious condition.
