Two Arabs Attack IDF Soldier in Jerusalem

An IDF soldier was attacked by two Arab youths on Polansky street in Jerusalem’s Shmuel HaNavi neighborhood.

The soldier was lightly hurt. He was taken to Shaarei Tzedek Hospital where he received treatment.

Police began combing the area, in a search for the perpetrators.

The attack took place hours after a judge released the suspects in a similar attack that took place in Haifa. In that attack, two off-duty soldiers were moderately injured when a gang of Arabs began throwing bricks and other objects at them, and then beat them with metal sticks and stones, while shouting anti-Jewish curses and slogans at them. The Arabs, using a knife, also carved the name “Fatah” on the head of one of the soldiers.

Amazingly, the judge ruled that the attack was not nationalistically motivated.
