Terrorists Attack Jerusalem Home with Firebombs

The terrorism wave in Jerusalem and the vicinity continued on Monday evening, as Arabs threw firebombs towards “Beit Ovadia”, a home in the Shiloach (known as Silwan by local Arabs) neighborhood, near Ir David (City of David).

Miraculously, there were no injuries among the residents of the house, who moved in just one day earlier after purchasing it with the assistance of Ateret Cohanim. Border Police officers at the scene dispersed the Arab attackers using crowd dispersal means.

In a separate attack, a bus driver sustained minor injuries from broken glass after Arabs threw rocks towards his bus near the Naomi Shemer tunnel in Jerusalem, which leads to Maaleh Adumim. The driver was taken for treatment at the Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital.

Earlier Monday evening, Arabs from the village of Dura al-Kara in Binyamin infiltrated into the Jewish town of Beit El, and threw two firebombs at a home. There were no injuries.

The use of firebombs has been reported in numerous recent incidents. Rock throwing and firebomb attacks have increased at light rail stops in Arab neighborhoods of Jerusalem. Firebombs were also thrown at police in recent riots on the Temple Mount.
