Terrorist Shot in Gun Battle with IDF Soldiers

An Arab terrorist tried to conduct a shooting attack on an IDF checkpoint in the Jordan Valley region on Friday.

The terrorist was shot by IDF forces soon after he pulled out his weapon and started firing, and he was seriously wounded. Reportedly the terrorist later died of his wounds.

No wounds were reported among the IDF forces.

An initial investigation of the incident reveals that the terrorist got out of a vehicle and opened fire at the IDF troops, although miraculously none were wounded.

The soldiers returning fire, striking the terrorist and seriously wounding him.

A picture of the weapon released by the IDF reveals the terrorist was armed with a modified Carl Gustav automatic weapon.

The attack comes amid a recent upswing in terrorist attacks since the Muslim fast month of Ramadan began last Thursday.

A Jewish man was murdered last Friday when an Arab terrorist shot him to death near an historic spring in Samaria, and this Sunday a Border Patrol officer was stabbed by an Arab terrorist at the Damascus Gate in Jerusalem’s Old City. The officer was seriously wounded but miraculously survived the wounds.

Then this Tuesday night a rocket from Gaza struck an open field in the Ashkelon region, fortunately causing no damage or wounds. The IDF responded by taking out the rocket launcher from which the attack emanated.
