Terror Victims Group on Way to Paris: ‘No Compromise!’

January 10, 2015

A delegation of the Almagor Terror Victims Association will visit France this week to take part in the funerals of the four victims of Friday’s kosher supermarket terrorist attack in Paris.

The delegation will be headed by Almagor Chairman Meir Indor and by by Rabbi Yehuda Ben-Yishai, whose daughter, son-in-law, and three grandchildren – the Fogel family of Itamar – were slaughtered by Moslem terrorists in 2012.

The visitors will also pay condolence visits to the grieving families, including those of the non-Jewish victims of recent terror attacks in Paris. Almagor will offer the same type of help in various areas that it provides to families of terrorism victims in Israel.

In an open letter addressed to the people, Jewish community and government of France, Almagor expresses its sorrow and states that countries “cannot be forgiving of terrorism in one place and expect that it will not pop up somewhere else. Muslim terrorism in Israel [and elsewhere] must be condemned and fought without compromise. When yesterday’s terrorist leaders become today’s world-admired politicians, instead of being eternally outcast, there is no wonder that others will want to follow in their footsteps.”

Almagor notes that the cruel murderers are “fanatic Muslims who sanctify death – while we of the western Democratic world sanctify life. We must therefore fight with no holds barred against those who wish to destroy our lives and the values that are important to us…”

In a separate open letter to the Government of Israel, Almagor writes, “Given Europe’s bewilderment at the wave of extremist Muslim terrorism, Israel is a beacon of light, opposing terrorism with social cohesion, determination, and self-sacrifice… Israel must stand at the helm of the worldwide political, judicial and ethical campaign against terrorism. It must return to its status of the 1970’s when it was a symbol and model of a firm and unyielding iron wall against terrorism, without compromise, surrender, or fear.”
