Tel Aviv man arrested for asking for ISIS tattoo

The Israel Police arrested a Tel Aviv resident several days ago, it was cleared for publication Tuesday, after he haplessly walked into a tattoo parlor and asked to have the Islamic State (ISIS) logo branded on his back.

When the man took off his shirt to make the request, he showed the tattoo artists his already-completed Al-Qaeda tattoo, and asked to “complete the picture.”

Israel Hayom reports that the tattoo parlor owner threw the man out of his store after he made the request, then told police what happened after running into a routine patrol making their rounds later that day.

Police took stills from nearby security cameras to aid in finding the suspect.

After a short time, the suspect was arrested, but later released after it was determined he had technically committed no crime.
