Teen Terrorist Released from Prison

Fourteen year-old Palestinian Arab terrorist Malak al-Khatib was released from prison Friday, AFP reported, after leftists protested in Israel and abroad against ‘Israeli brutality’ for apprehending the teen after she attempted to attack Israelis.

Khatib was allegedly met in Tulkarem by her parents, extended family, and the mayor upon her release, before returning home to the Arab settlement of Beitin near the Palestinian Authority (PA) city of Ramallah.

The terrorist was arrested on December 31, after she was found walking along Route 60 with rocks in her hands and a knife on her person – allegedly to attack ‘settlers,’ according to the indictment.

Khatib was originally sentenced to two months in prison for the offense, but was released after just six weeks because of her age.

Protesters claimed that Israel had overstepped its boundaries in arresting her, claiming she had just been walking home from school and that she was too young to be imprisoned for targeting Israelis.
