Shots Fired At Beit El Home

Shots were fired on Monday evening towards a home in the Binyamin region town of Beit El.

No one was hurt but damage was caused to one of the home’s windows.

The shots were likely fired by Arabs from the nearby Palestinian Authority village of Jilazun. IDF soldiers are searching for the perpetrators.

Earlier on Monday, an IDF force lying in ambush shot dead an Arab terrorist who was preparing to throw rocks at Israeli cars traveling on Road 60, north of Jerusalem.

Just last week, in two separate incidents, Arab terrorists hurled firebombs at Beit El. No one was hurt and no damage was caused. One firebomb landed close to the community’s perimeter fence, just a few meters away from some houses.

The Beit El council said that the attacks mark a serious uptick in the severity of the terror attacks on the community.

“These firebombs are being thrown in broad daylight and extremely close to the community’s houses,” a source noted.
