Senior terrorists arrested

Two senior terrorists, one from Hamas and the other from Islamic Jihad, were arrested together before dawn Tuesday by the IDF, Israel Security Agency (ISA) and the Border Police’s undercover unit.

The two men, who were arrested at their hideout in Jenin, had been planning to carry out attacks against Israeli security forces.

One of the terrorists, Kays Saadi, 24, is a Hamas operative from the Jenin refugee camp, who has, in the past, taken part in terror actions, including firing at IDF soldiers, production and planting of explosive charges, and trade in weapons.

The other is Taher Jaradat, 29, of Islamic Jihad.

Many weapons were seized at the men’s hideout apartment. These included M-16 rifles, cartridges, a handgun, a stun grenade, night vision equipment and ammunition.
