The Ministry of Education has released a full list of school closings Wednesday night, due to the snow, wind, and hailstorm raging across northern and central Israel for the next 48 hours. 

As of right now, the following communities will close schools Thursday: 

• Samaria: Ariel, Emanuel, Elon Moreh, Itamar, Yitzhar, Har Bracha, Havat Gilad, Kfar Tapuah, Nofei Nehemieh, Rehelim, Migdalim. In Yakir, only students who reside in the community will be required to attend. Ariel University is closed until Thursday night; students will be notified as to the status of their Friday classes at that time. 
• Binyamin Regional Council: Eli, Shilo, Ofra, Kohav Yaakov, Tel Zion, Dolev, Adam, Talmon, Kohav Hashahar, Neria, Amona, Shvut Rahel, Adei Ad, Kedar, Ma’ale Levona, Psagot. 
• Greater Jerusalem area – schools have been closed in the following neighborhoods: Givat Ze’ev, Mevaseret Zion, Efrat, Beit El, Beit Horon, and Kiryat Yearim.
• The city of Jerusalem will decide school closings at 6:00 am Thursday morning, pending weather conditions. Jerusalem is at the epicenter of an area of central Israel likely to get heavy amounts of snow. Hebrew University is also expected to remain closed until further notice, on both campuses. 
• North: Beit Jann, all towns in the Misgav Regional Council and the Golan Regional Council, Safed, Kibbutz Yaron. 
• Mateh Yehuda (Judea): Neve Ilan, Ramat Rahel, Ora, Even Sapir, Kiryat Anavim, Hadassah, Aminadav, Maale Hahamisha, Tzur Hadassah, Beit Meir, Beit Zayit, Nes Harim, Motza, Givat Yearim, Ein Rafa, Nataf, Kisalon, Ein Nekuva, Tzova, Beit Nekufa, Shoresh, Yad Hashmona, and Mateh. 

Schools will remain open in a limited capacity in the following communities: Nili, Na’ale, Michmash, Mitzpe Yericho, Kfar Adumim, Mevo Horon, Hashmonaim, and Kfar Oranim.

All studies elsewhere in Israel will resume on schedule as usual.
