Rocket Attack on Southern Israel

Gaza terrorists fired a rocket attack on southern Israel Thursday afternoon, but no one was injured in the explosion.

The Color Red incoming rocket alert siren was activated mid-afternoon Thursday in a number of Gaza Belt communities in southern Israel, according to local sources.

The alert sounded throughout communities in the Sha’ar HaNegev district approximately five times, the sources said, giving residents 15 seconds to race for cover.

At least one rocket is known to have been fired from Gaza by Palestinian Authority Arab terrorists.

Initial reports indicate that it landed in an open area, harming no one.

No property damage was reported.

The ruling Hamas terrorist organization that controls Gaza has been badly shaken by the coup d’etat that ousted Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood-backed former President Mohamed Morsi last week.

It was the Muslim Brotherhood that organized and helped form Hamas, and which has continued to nurture its aspirations towards the annihilation of the State of Israel.
