Prosor Walks Tall at United Nations
September 22, 2011Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations told Arutz Sheva he walks “tall and proud” as Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations.
“The most important things to understand here is that here are no shortcuts to peace,” Prosor told Arutz Sheva.
“Peace can only be achieved by direct negotiations between the two sides. By definition peace is an agreement. It cannot be imposed from the outside.
“When I walk those corridors as Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations I walk them tall and proud,” Prosor told Arutz Sheva.
“Because with all of the problems, and all of the majorities against us, I represent the Jewish people and state of Israel, with our values and what we stand for. And our heritage and tradition,”
“We can look people in the eye and say, ‘you know what, we are very proud to be Israelis, to be Zionists.'”
