Poll: Labor Outpaces Likud, Jewish Home Slips Back to 12
March 3, 2015The polls ahead of March 17 Knesset elections continue to show varied results, as a new survey on Tuesday gives the Labor and Hatnua “Zionist camp” an edge of 24 mandates against Likud, which comes in at 21 seats.
The poll, conducted by Panels Politics for the Knesset Channel, puts the joint Arab list at 13 seats. Yesh Atid ties at 13 as well, splitting third place between them.
Jewish Home slides back to 12 seats and fifth placce in the poll, a reversal after previously breaking their slump by inching back up to 14 in a poll on Sunday.
Moshe Kahlon’s Kulanu comes in next at eight seats, and the haredi parties of Shas and United Torah Judaism get seven each.
The far left Meretz party rebounds slightly to six seats, and Yisrael Beytenu comes in at five, as they continue to apparently hurt from a corruption scandal that surrounded the party.
Eli Yishai’s Yachad – Ha’am Itanu joint list with Otzma Yehudit comes in at four seats, continuing to pass the threshold percentage as it has done consistently since the parties formed a technical bloc.
The poll also found that a full 16% of respondents said they still haven’t decided which party to vote for.
