Both police and victims made significant progress recovering from Thursday’s round of terror attacks Friday, with several arrests overnight and the wounded showing signs of improvement. 

A 50-year-old man injured in the Tel Aviv synagogue stabbing has stabilized and is now in mild to moderate condition at Tel Aviv’s Ichilov Hospital, a hospital representative stated Friday morning. He is being treated in the hospital’s trauma unit with chest injuries. 

Just two of the eight injured in the Gush Etzion shooting and car attack remain hospitalized Friday morning, with both in light condition in Jerusalem’s Shaare Tzedek Medical Center. One of the injured may be released later Friday; another, aged 16, is in moderate condition. 

The Israel Police made a wave of arrests overnight following the attacks, Walla! News reports Friday, detaining nine people following the terror attack in Tel Aviv.

Six are Palestinian Arabs caught in sovereign Israeli territory without work permits; the other three are suspected of employing illegal aliens. Police will reportedly request to extend the remand of all nine Friday in the Tel Aviv Magistrates Court. 

Late Thursday night, the 36-year-old resident of Dura near Hevron who launched the Tel Aviv attack was revealed to have worked legally in a restaurant in Yafo.
