At least one person has been seriously wounded in a stabbing attack in the coastal Israeli city of Netanya.

According to initial reports the attack took place in Netanya market.

Magen David Adom (MDA) paramedics who arrived at the scene said they found a 30-year-old male victim in serious condition.

The victim was given emergency first-aid treatment before being evacuated to hospital.

The terrorist has been neutralized, though his precise condition is currently unclear.
