Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has become the sixth richest person in the world.
The 31-year old Jewish billionaire is the youngest in the list of top ten richest people in the world, according to Forbes.
Zuckerberg’s net worth increased $4.85 billion to $46.25 billion, as the social network announced that it made over $1 billion in quarterly profit for the first time, and increased its revenues by 52%.
Zuckerberg is now the fourth richest in America and sixth overall, surpassing Oracle Chairman Larry Ellison, who has a net worth of $43.6 billion.
This new status comes less than two weeks after an Israeli rights group launched a crowd funding initiative “Zuckerberg don’t kill us!”
The Israeli NGO, Shurat Hadin, aim to fund billboards outside the Facebook CEO’s California home as a form of protest for allowing Palestinian incitement on the popular social media tool, after exposing the company’s apparent double standards in allowing incitement.
