More than 150 children “of Martyrs and prisoners” participated in a Palestinian Authority camp named “Jerusalem in the Eyes of the Lion Cubs and Flowers of Palestine,” Palestinian Media Watch reports Monday.

The summer camp is run by the PA security forces in coordination with Mahmoud Abbas’s Fatah’s youth movement “the Lion Cubs and Flowers of Palestine.” 

Campers danced during the closing ceremony in military garb with rifles, according to the watchdog group, and was attended by several PA and Fatah officials, according to a broadcast on the Fatah-run Adwah TV. 

Summer camps are a common terror training tactic in the Palestinian Arab world, and Hamas set up a similar camp in Gaza this year.
