How Israel Made the Desert Bloom

At the beginning of the 20th century, Israel wasn’t much more than desert and swamp lands. Visit today and you’d never know it! Dedication and innovation transformed the land – making it useable, turning it green, bringing it back to life. Now Israel’s experience is helping others. Israel is a leader in anti-desertification and agriculture, teaching other countries how to protect themselves from the threat of desertification. It’s almost a miracle.
