Two terrorists were shot dead overnight Thursday following a stabbing attack in the Tel Rumeida neighborhood of Hevron.

The terrorists arrived at a security checkpoint just before 1:00 a.m. local time, where one of them stabbed a 20-year old soldier and lightly injured him in the face. The two terrorists were then shot dead by IDF soldiers who arrived on the scene.

Magen David Adom paramedics evacuated the wounded soldier to the Shaare Tzedek Hospital in Jerusalem.

Earlier on Thursday, an Arab terrorist conducted a stabbing attack at the Damascus Gate of Jerusalem’s Old City, leaving an officer moderately wounded.

The terrorist was eliminated at the scene by Border Police officers.

Also on Thursday, a Palestinian Authority intelligence officer shot two Israelis, leaving one seriously wounded and the other lightly wounded, before being shot dead by IDF soldiers.

The attack took place at Hizme checkpoint just north of Jerusalem, which is the major artery into Jerusalem from Samaria.
