Hevron Hills: Arab Gang Caught with Firebombs in Hand

Soldiers caught four young terrorists on Wednesday night, just moments before they could attack Israelis on a nearby highway.

The dramatic capture took place in the Hevron Hills. Soldiers with the Kfir Brigade noticed four suspicious figures hiding near a heavily used junction.

They approached the four, who attempted to escape into the nearby Arab town of Kfar Awa. The soldiers were faster, and managed to apprehend the four.

The troops discovered that the would-be attackers had already prepared firebombs, and were holding them ready to throw. They had flammable liquid with them to make more bombs, as well.

The four young terrorists have admitted to the charges against them. Investigators are now trying to determine if they were acting alone, or were sent by a terrorist organization.

Firebomb attacks have caused serious injury and even death in the past.

IDF Commander Baruch Ram told Arutz Sheva that soldiers in the Hevron area are engaged in a variety of covert operations aimed at fighting terrorism on the roads. Those who attack drivers with stones or firebombs are terrorists in every sense of the word, he said.
