Hazan: Reports About Me a ‘Targeted Assassination’

MK Oren Hazan (Likud) on Wednesday evening participated in a gathering of Likud Central Committee members, where he dismissed the reports about him this week as a “targeted assassination attempt”.

Channel 2 News’ Amit Segal reported this week that, who spent several years managing a casino hotel in Burgas, Bulgaria, also did business with a local escort agency providing female escorts to Israeli gamblers visiting the casino.

Israeli tourists interviewed in the news report also claimed the MK used hard drugs with them, in particular crystal meth.

“There is no doubt that this was a targeted assassination of the deputy speaker of the Knesset and an active Knesset member,” Hazan told the Likud members on Wednesday evening.

Hazan, who has already threatened Channel 2 with legal action, attacked Segal and said, “Get ready, we’re going to meet in court and it will have its say. The pile of lies you spread around will melt away and dissolve.”

The report about Hazan’s exploits in Bulgaria has already caused a firestorm in the Knesset, and the freshman MK was partially stripped of his authorities by Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein.
