Gaza Terrorists Fire Two Rockets at Southern Israel

Terrorists from Hamas-controlled Gaza fired two Qassam rockets at southern Israel on Thursday evening.

Shortly after 10:00 p.m., residents of the Eshkol Regional Council heard the “Red Alert” siren, before the rockets exploded in the region.

The two rockets exploded in open areas, causing no physical injuries or damages.

Several weeks ago, Gaza terrorists fired at least seven rockets on southern Israel, all of which exploded in open areas and did not cause any casualties.

In response, IDF aircraft attacked several terror targets in Gaza, including two weapons storage sites in central Gaza, as well as a rocket launching site and a center of terrorist activity in southern Gaza.

Two weeks ago, residents of Eilat reported hearing loud explosions in the city.

Security forces checked to determine whether the explosions were caused by Grad missiles and, after several hours of searching, police and the Home Front Command assessed the situation and gave the all clear for life in the city to return to normal.

The remains of a Grad missile were found near the city several days later.
