Frequent attempts by Palestinian Authority terrorists to infiltrate the Jewish town of Elon Moreh in Samaria have failed to weaken the community, local security chief Shai Suissa said, speaking to Arutz Sheva.
“Those who live here have been blessed with great faith,” Suissa said. “We are here due to our faith, and even when things like this happen, it does not shake our trust in what is right.”
Local guards and IDF soldiers worked together to stop an attempted terrorist infiltration earlier in the week.
“We trust G-d, and at the same time, do the best work we can,” Suissa explained. “We provide security 24 hours a day.
“Now we’re marking one year since the slaughter of the Fogel family… Unfortunately, since that incident there have been many similar infiltration attempts, some which made it into the media and some which didn’t.”
Elon Moreh’s PA neighbors “crossed all the lines long ago,” Suissa said. He expressed hope that the latest terror attempt would be appropriately punished, saying, “We expect that the legal system will take the proper steps with these terrorists, even though they failed to carry out their attack.”
