Clinton says Trump is not ‘qualified’ to be president

In an interview with CNN on Thursday, democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton said that Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is not qualified to president.

Her reasons included Trump’s plan to bar Muslims from entering the US, his call to step back from the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and his negative comments about the UK government.

“When you run for president of the United States, the entire world is listening and watching,” said Clinton. “Based on the way he has behaved and how he has spoken and the policies he has thrown out there, I think it adds up to a very troubling picture.”

“It sends a message of disrespect and it sends a message that makes the situation inside those countries not to go all in, the way we need them to go all in,” she said.

Clinton further claimed that race against Bernie Sanders is essentially over and despite his continuing campaign, she thinks there is no doubt she will be the nominee.

“I’m three million votes ahead of him, I have an insurmountable lead in pledged delegates,” she said. “I will be the nominee for my party, that is already done, in effect. There is no way that I won’t be.”

When asked if she was considering to pick Sanders to be her vice president, Clinton flatly said: “I’m not going to answer that question.”

Clinton is 90 delegates away from the 2,383 needed to win. Sanders is 850 delegates short.
