A female suspect who reportedly attempted to stab Israelis west of the town of Ariel in Samaria has been neutralized.

There are no reports of Israelis were wounded in the incident.

IDF forces at the scene shot and neutralized the terrorist, who is in critical condition.

After being treated at the scene, the terrorist was evacuated to Beilinson Hospital in Petach Tikva.

Initial reports indicate that the female terrorist had targeted soldiers at the Giti junction on Route 5 just outside of Ariel.

When the terrorist lunged at a soldier from the Givati Brigade, IDF forces stationed in the area opened fire, hitting the assailant in the chest.
