IDF soldiers shot and wounded a terrorist who was wielding a knife near the city of Tulkarem in Samaria. The terrorist was apparently attempting to carry out an attack in the nearby Jewish town of Salit. Aside from the terrorist, no injuries were reported. 

Upon conducting an investigation it was revealed that the terrorist had cut through a fence that surrounded the two towns of Salit and Tzur Natan in an attempt to infiltrate the towns and carry out an attack. The IDF soldiers who responded conducted the proper procedure to arrest a suspicious individual and attempted to arrest the terrorist. The terrorist pulled out a knife and proceeded to attack the soldiers who opened fire and shot the terrorist. He was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Yesterday a Palestinian drove up to a checkpoint near the town of Beit El and opened fire on the soldiers who were on duty. Three soldiers were injured and one of them was critically wounded.
