Arabs Hurl Firebombs at Jerusalem Nightclub

Arab terrorists on Saturday night hurled four firebombs towards a nightclub in the French Hill neighborhood of Jerusalem.

One of the firebombs burst just outside the nightclub. No one was hurt. Police have arrested three Arabs suspected of involvement in the attack.

The attack comes just several days after Jerusalem resident Raphael Delarosa was attacked while driving his car in the French Hill neighborhood. The attackers, from the Arab neighborhood of Issawiya, threw stones and bricks at his car, shattering the rear windshield.

Speaking to Arutz Sheva, Delarosa reported, “I was on my way to a building supplies store right behind the Hadassah Mount Scopus Hospital, on the border between two Jerusalem neighborhoods – Issawiya and French Hill.”

“I left the store, said thank you to the pleasant Arab salespeople, drove 50 meters and suddenly was attacked by a hail of blocks and stones thrown by 16- to 17-year-old youth,” noted the Jerusalem man.

The number of attacks generating from Arab residents of Issawiya have led students at nearby Hebrew University Mount Scopus Campus to declare the area a “war zone.” New IDF regulations last November revealed the army also deemed the area unsafe for its soldiers.

On Friday, an attempted terrorist attack was thwarted in Maale Adumim, east of Jerusalem.

Jerusalem police had received reports that a local security patrol had stopped a suspicious-looking man, who appeared to be “drunk”, standing at the entrance to the city.

Police dispatched a patrol car and when officers arrived and began questioning the suspect, they noted he appeared very nervous and was answering their questions in a suspicious manner.

At that point police acted quickly to arrest the man, and discovered that he was concealing a 30 cm knife on his person.

The suspect, a 34-year-old man from the Arab of Abu Dis, revealed under interrogation that he had been planning to carry out a stabbing attack in Maale Adumim.
