Arab Fire Bomb Lightly Injures Man in Samaria
November 6, 2011An Israeli man was wounded Sunday morning in a firebomb attack in the Samaria region. He was targeted by Arabs as he drove near Karnei Shomron.
The man received medical treatment at the scene, and did not require hospital care.
Later in the day the HNN news site reported a terrorist firebomb attack on an Israeli bus near Shechem. No injuries were reported.
Attacks on Jewish motorists in Judea and Samaria have grown increasingly frequent in recent months. Jews living in the region warned in mid-2011 that terror on the roads would grow after Route 60, Highway 443 and other roads were opened to Palestinian Authority traffic.
Sunday’s attack continues a week of terrorist activity in Samaria that included an attack on IDF soldiers at the Tomb of Elazar Hacohen.
Soldiers were at the tomb to clear it of graffiti calling to free the murderers of the Fogel family. The murderers have each been sentenced to life in prison for killing five members of the family – including three young children – by stabbing them to death in their beds.
In yet more attacks, PA terrorists targeted Jewish worshipers Thursday as they attempted to pray at the Tomb of Joseph, and elsewhere at the Tomb of Joshua.
