Arab Arrested after Machine-Gun Found in Car
November 27, 2014IDF forces arrested an Arab man near the Jewish neighborhood in Hevron Thursday evening after a sub-machine gun was found in his car, along with a bullet cartridge.
The gun was of the Carl Gustav M/45 variety, a portable and lethal weapon.
Arab terrorists opened fire Thursday night on an Israeli car driving on Highway 465 near Hadoar Intersection, in the Binyamin region of Samaria north of Jerusalem.
According to reports, no one was wounded in the attack.
It is not currently known if the two events are related, but both are part of a recent escalation in Arab terrorism engulfing the region.
Also on Thursday it was revealed that Israeli security services uncovered a major Hamas terrorist cell in Judea and Samaria in September.
