Annual Beit El Dinner in New York Aims for Future Jewish Leaders

November 16, 2011

The annual Beit El Gala dinner in New York on Sunday, December 4 is geared to attract the future leaders of Jewish causes.

The event will take place at 5 p.m. the Manhattan Marriott Marquis and will include live entertainment. The featured speaker will be Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon, along with other Israeli and New York dignitaries.

“It’s a great opportunity for networking with the ‘cream of the crop’ Jews who care about Israel,” organizers said, adding, “We are launching a special drive to bring in young people who have a passion for Israel and who will serve as future leaders of Jewish causes in Israel and the Diaspora. The Young Leadership tables will be filled with serious, committed, quality singles and couples.”

The Beit El Yeshiva Center, which heads the religious institutions in the community located in Samaria (Shomron), has the largest and most prestigious Dinner of any Israeli organization.

Its institutions include the Kollel Program, Boys High School, Girls High School, Teachers Academy, Hesder Yeshiva, and IDF Preparatory Academy which boast over 1100 students. The yeshiva also conducts family tours throughout Israel.

Beit El institutions stand at the forefront against “the Quartet on the Middle East and other Western superpowers that trample 3,000 years of Jewish history and promote shrinking the borders of our ancestral homeland along with the ethnic cleansing of Jews from their homes,” organizers of the dinner said.

The event will feature prizes of two iPads for young leaders, who can obtain more information at AviWaxman@IsraelNationalNews.com. Registration for seats and for placing advertisements can be made at http://wizadjournal.com/betelgala2011/
