The Knesset this week approved harsher punishments against Arab terrorists hurling rocks at Israeli cars, in attacks that have tragically proven lethal in the past – unsurprisingly, Palestinian “human rights” organizations and terror groups have protested the measures.

According to the law – which has caused mainstream Israeli media to “discover” the incessant terror phenomenon – those throwing rocks at cars can be jailed up to 10 years, while those throwing with intent to cause injury can spend up to 20 years in jail. Terrorists throwing rocks at police can receive up to five years in jail.

But Palestinian Arab “human rights” organizations have voiced their censure of the law, which aims to protect the lives of Israelis, claiming it opposes international law – without detailing which law it may oppose.

Terrorist organizations have also opposed the law for stripping their “right to armed struggle” against Israeli civilians.

Hamas spokesperson Sami Abu Zuhri called the law “racist,” and urged the international community to take action against Israel for its defense of its citizens.

The terrorist spokesperson emphasized that Arabs will continue throwing potentially lethal rocks at Israelis regardless of the law.

Mahmoud Halaf, a member of the central committee of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) terrorist organization, ironically said the counter-terror law is an expression of “organized terror by the state.”

“The occupation state and its parliament lost their path in legislating a fascist and racist law,” said Halaf, echoed Zuhri in saying Arabs have the “right” to try and murder Israeli Jews with rocks.
