Less than two years ago, Ambassador Yehuda Avner was a guest on this show, and he was at his usual excellent and immaculate self. He passed away about two weeks ago, and I wanted to pay tribute to his memory by reprising this show so that we all remember how articulate and engaging he was.
Author of “The Prime Ministers: An Intimate Narrative of Israeli Leadership”, Mr. Avner gives us personal portraits of former Israeli Prime Ministers Golda Meir and Menachem Begin.
With his royal British accent, armed with anecdotes and coming from a place of intimate knowledge about what he writes, you will enjoy hearing the Ambassador and will quickly come to appreciate the great oratorical gift that we have lost.
I would be interested to hear your reactions.
