Labor in the Lead Six Days Before Elections

Six days before elections, public favor is swinging toward Labor-Hatnua and a leftist government, according to the latest pre-elections poll.

Labor-Hatnua would gain 24 seats in the 20th Knesset if elections were held today, according to the Army Radio poll by the Shiluv institute, gaining over Likud at just 21.

Back in third place is Jewish Home with 13 seats, followed by Yesh Atid and the Arab list with 12 each.

Kulanu would gain 8 seats; Shas and United Torah Judaism (UTJ) are projected to gain 7 each.

Bottoming out the poll are Yisrael Beytenu and Meretz with six each, and Yachad-Ha’am Itanu with four.

Despite this, more respondents – 48% – believe current Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu is best suited for the role, versus just 32% who support Labor-Hatnua leader Yitzhak Herzog.
