Palestinian Media Calls Har Nof Terrorists ‘Victims’

The Palestinian Authority’s official television network, under the rule of PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas, presented the five terrorists who murdered Israeli civilians as “martyrs.”

These terrorists were injured and/or killed by Israeli security forces – either in the midst of attacking Israeli civilians, or after the attack in attempts to arrest them. However, the PA program described their deaths as “Israeli attacks against our people,” the Israeli research institute, Palestinian Media Watch (PMW), reported.

According to PMW, the Palestinian network completely avoided mentioning the deadly attacks committed by these terrorists, referring to car terror attacks against civilians as “accidents” and “incidents.”

The television piece, which was broadcast four different times – each time with various new releases, depicted the terrorists as victims.

According to the narrator of the program (in relation to the terrorists who committed the Har Nof massacre) : “The latest reaction to Netanyahu’s policy and means was the death of two Palestinians as Martyrs from occupation police fire in West Jerusalem

The Palestinian Media Watch has previously documented Abbas himself honoring the terrorist who shot Rabbi Yehuda Glick, Abbas’ advisor honoring the terrorists who murdered several people by running them over as well as glorifying the synagogue murderers

PMW also documented Fatah officials explaining away Abbas’ condemnation of these murders, arguing that Abbas had no other choice due to pressure from the international community.

The synagogue massacre in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Har Nof killed four Rabbis, as well as a Druze Border Patrol officer. The victims were Rabbi Avraham Shmuel Goldberg, Rabbi Aryeh Kupinsky, Rabbi Moshe Twersky, Rabbi Kalman Levine, and Zidan Seif.
