80% of UK Jews Believe BBC is Biased Against Israel
As the United Kingdom’s BBC is set to welcome former Times newspaper editor James Harding as its new director of current affairs, Jews in the UK are likely to be hopeful that the broadcaster is more friendly to Israel in its news coverage. A report found that nearly four out of five Jews believe the network is biased against the Jewish state. Harding, the grandson of a German-Jewish refugee, became the youngest ever editor at the Times when he was appointed to the position at the age of 38 in 2007.
