There was a failed attempt today by terrorist infiltrators to target Israeli soldiers stationed on the border of the Gaza Strip.  An explosive devise detonated as an IDF convoy passed by. No one was hurt.

Two Grad rockets were fired into Ashkelon Tuesday night. One of the rockets was intercepted by the Iron Dome system, while the second exploded in an open area. No causalities or property damage resulted from the incident.

The two rockets were launched after a period of relatively quiet in recent weeks.

A month ago a barrage of four Grad rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip toward the city of Netivot. The Iron Dome system successfully intercepted two of the rockets. No causalities or property damage resulted from the incident.
