Tirza Petrover, from the Binyamin community of Psagot, awoke Wednesday morning to find that a bullet had struck a window while her family was at home. No one was harmed.
The bullet is believed to be a stray shot, though IDF forces are currently at the scene.
“When I opened the bedroom blinds early this morning, I found the smashed window and a bullet. The community’s security coordinator, the army and police arrived within a few minutes, which we greatly appreciate. We expect and trust that security forces will seriously deal with the daily shootings under our home.”
Other Psagot residents say that the IDF has done much, on both an operational and an intelligence level, over the past few months to prevent such incidents. “We will continue supporting the army, which acts day and night in order to maintain our security,” they say.
