Hamas announced on Wednesday the start of registration for its annual summer camps, which this year are named “Al-Quds Intifada” and will be held throughout Gaza.
The “Al-Quds Intifada” is the name that Palestinian Arab groups are using to describe the current wave of terrorism against Israelis.
The camps in question are a summer camp for children, designed to instill terror to the younger generation, and Hamas says the name was chosen because the young people today are leading the “Intifada”.
Hamas has placed an emphasis on “education” of the younger generation since it took over Gaza in 2007, meaning education to violence and war and especially the encouragement of “martyrdom” in the name of “jihad” against Jews.
In the summer camps in Gaza, the children learn about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict from an Islamist perspective which denies the very existence of the State of Israel.
The Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) has uncovered several videos showing children in Gaza calling for terrorist attacks and practicing “jihad”.
