NYPD search for illiterate anti-Semitic vandal

The New York City Police Department (NYPD) is searching for a man who spray-painted anti-Semitic graffiti on the side of a building in downtown Manhattan, according to local reports.

According to police, the vandal painted a swastika, a Jewish star and what appears to be a pair of eyes underneath a halo, along with the words: “It’s a viscious [sic] cycle.”

Surveillance video released to the public show the suspect fleeing the scene by foot.

The suspect is described by the NYPD as having short black hair and was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket with dark shorts, and a black cross-over backpack.
