Arab youths attacked a Jewish family in the Valley of Ben Hinnom, outside the walls of the Old City of Jerusalem, on Thursday. Two members of the family were wounded moderately and one was lightly wounded.
They were evacuated to Hadassah Ein Karem hospital.
Other Arab youths hurled rocks at Jews near the Lions’ Gate to the Old City. An 11 year old Jewish boy was wounded in the head. Police have launched an investigation.
Thousands of Arabs participated in a protest march near Abu Snan in the Galilee Thursday, to mark Israel’s Independence Day, which they see as a day of “disaster.”
