IDF Civil Administration forces accompanied by police officers arrived at Beit El in the Binyamin region of Samaria in the middle of the night on Tuesday night, where they demolished the home of the Aloni family.
Arutz Sheva has learned that at 3 a.m. the forces knocked on the door of Uri and Inbal Aloni’s home, and within mere minutes demolished the home that was built without the proper permits.
Uri is a member of the Aloni family, one of the most veteran families in Beit El who helped found the community. His friends relate that he chose to build his home in Beit El “next to the business that he established and developed with his own hands – a horse ranch” that also provides services for special needs children.
Now as the Passover holiday approaches on Friday night, the young couple find themselves without a roof over their heads. Inbal is currently in the advanced stages of pregnancy.
Responding to the demolition, the couple’s friends announced that they will support them and help them reestablish their home despite the attempts of security forces to demolish Jewish houses in Judea and Samaria – a trend which many have noted clashes with the general free hand given to illegal Arab construction.
In response, the Civil Administration said in a statement that “this was enforcement against an illegal structure established on private lands without the required permits from the authorized sources.”
The Civil Administration added that before the demolition occurred the welfare sources in Beit El were updated on the situation. All of the equipment was removed from the home and placed outside under nylon, and the owner brought a vehicle to gather his belongings.
